Off to Osaka, Japan. Part V
My last post about this vacation was posted on 24 November 2015 and today is 22 October 2016. Great job, Iris, great job at being such an excellent lazy bum. No worries, it's finally the last part of the vacation post. I know I swore to finish it before my Taiwan trip in December 2015 but I put the pro in procrastination y'all. I don't even know what's the point anymore lol, just wanna get it over with. Maybe some people might be travelling to Osaka and wants to check my blog for reference? How would I know. Anyway......... I don't really remember what I was feeling at that moment of time from two years ago but I'll try my best so here goes nothing. Day 8/ Jun 22: Osaka We've been here before on day 5 of the vacation after we were done with Universal Studio Japan. This place can be reached by four ways for a tourist: 1. A small boat crossing over from jetty near USJ, free of charge. (We found it by chance just by wandering around, so I do not know what's the name or where it is for the life of my sorry ass) 2. A 10-mins shuttle ferry from outside of USJ to Kaiyukan west wharf. Link here. 3. The train station is called Osakako 大阪港 of the Chuo Line 中央本線. 4. Car, obviously. We went into Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan 海遊館 first cause when we got there the Osaka Bay Santa Maria Cruise サンタマリア still hasn't started its tour. The cruise ship is a replica of the sailing ship in which Columbus discovered America (although the replica is twice the size of the original). The Santa Maria departs for a complete tour of Osaka Bay from Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan at Tempozan Harbor Village. From its deck you can see the bay in its entirety. The day cruise lasts 50 minutes, the night cruise 105 minutes. Here onward, some pictures of animals. We got on the cruise at 3pm and saw the bay in a whole different perspective than just being on both side of the jetty. But I'd say the night view is better. Even saw the ferris wheel. And that's the end of day 8. Day 9/ Jun 23: Shinsaibashi 心斎橋 There was this Pokémon event. Had our last authentic Japanese ramen. Saw a bunch of cosplay/ goth costumes. Had a famous Japanese dessert, I think. Went into a legal casino. Took a tourist photo. Took the train to the airport. Bought Tokyo Banana 東京ばな奈. And then, our last group photo. And FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY I've finished the blog post of my Osaka vacation in 2014. Congratulations, Iris, you've finally completed something in your life hahaha.
END.
