First classmates outing, Shawn's birthday.

Back in Penang while I was studying Diploma, I was never tight with my classmates. Not to blame it on everyone but I guess it was because I was the weird crazy one and I was always busy with boyfriend and class-skipping. Here in KL, people aren't exactly super friendly like where I was raised and being the tough and independent girl that I am, I just stick to myself and be alone. Yesterday while I was walking after class, one of our classmates invited me to join them for lunch.

Initially, the plan was to go Festival Mall, a mall super near to my apartment and our college. I just followed them, being quiet and not giving any opinions. I mean it's my first time talking to them, of course I'm shy! And I wouldn't want to offend anyone with my straight-to-point way of talking, I know I have a problem -_-

First location: Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

Suddenly they changed plan to go Alexis in Bangsar, that's far but three of our classmates have cars so the distance's not a problem. But then Alexis was too expensive for us, freaking RM40+ for a plate of spaghetti so they changed to this place. Because the place was in a mall, it took us quite some time to find it, none of us knew the road around the area but we had our trusty Waze.

The relaxed ambience of the pork serving restaurant is the reason for its popularity.

We had to sit in the outdoor section because there were too many of us. It wasn't as hot as we expected, they had trees and fans which made it so cool. Had our first group shot. The guy in the pink t-shirt is the birthday boy, Shawn.

Prices were on acceptable level for a very big plate of food.

The one nicest to eat was this recommended Mighty Piggy Burger @ RM28. We didn't have a chance to try the pasta cause the kitchen weren't prepared to serve any other kind of food except for breakfasts and sandwiches.

Ground Floor, Bangsar Village 1, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Open daily: 9am to 11pm
03-2283 2270

Second location: Dip n Dip

Quote of the cafe is "A taste will make you :)", I missed out the emoticon. We had dessert after lunch here, located near Alexis.

The sweet and overwhelming smell of chocolate burst out once you open the door to the cafe. Chocolate lovers filled the cafe and chitter chatter about how great the desserts are.

Prices are a little expensive but if you come after a meal, a plate of their dessert will be enough for 2-3 person.

The best one that I had was this Fondant @ RM13.50. It's like chocolate lava cake and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

After having our second big group shot which is the first picture of this post. I had a small group shot with the three classmates that were in the same car for the journey of the day and of course the birthday boy.

Jalan Telawi, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Open Sat to Thurs: 11am to 1am
Fri: 2.30pm-1am
03-2201 5052

We ended our day with a swim below the apartment of one of the classmate and dinner nearby. In conclusion, the whole day was joyous and I'm glad to have agreed to go out with them instead of rotting in my apartment. LOL.
