Three of us against the world.
Look at how ugly I am in the picture OMG hahaha. We call it KK's sexy! Cause he always make that same face when he takes a picture.
That weekend we went back our lovely hometown of Penang together and it felt like we weren't back to be with our families at all. After having supper that Saturday night, me and KK went for drinks at Auto City with another friend of mine. It was supposed to end at 2am cause both of us had to wake up at 7am for our own reasons but it ended up till BED's closing time and I drove KK home which is like a 20 minutes drive from there, not to mention the distance from there back to my house. All in all, it was the craziest night I've had since Avicii.
The next day after fetching my parents from the Penang airport at 8am, brought my mom to the morning market for grocery shopping. Got home at 10am which led to Emily's awake and our Skype call for an hour plus. It's like we have so much to talk about when we have nothing to talk about, we were just blank bullshitting while putting on our make ups, yes we were about to go out even tho I had like only 3 hours of sleep.
Went to my favourite place of all the Penang vintage cafes, Cozy in The Rocket. Ordered so much, ended up our lunch to be a total of RM150. Still awesome! One of our dishes, Carbonara reminding me of Yuet Gong Hor cause of the egg yolk.
Had a selfie with KK which made all of our friends question our relationship cause I hashtagged #100happydays. Nobody understood it was for something else. We have not been dating for 3 months! I'm still single and available, everybody!
And then we went to China House for dessert and more selfies!
(: Back in KL :)
On one particular Thursday, I don't know what came over us, we just suddenly wanted to enjoy ourselves at a nice cafe which ultimately cheated ourselves to come to this restaurant called Acme Bar & Coffee. It looked like a cafe in the pictures online!
Located near KLCC but recommend not to walk there, a part of The Troika condominium, cool exterior and awesome atmosphere of the interior.
Of course we were shocked of the environment and price of the menu but we were more ashamed of our clothes. We dressed so casual, more casual than what we wore back in Penang for those little cafes. Without make up, I felt like a hobbit for not fitting in to the situation, cause my face SO CHAN!
Then I picked up my confidence and decided to be the as sophisticated as I can be around my two crazy friends who have never seen this side of me. Dai ka jie teach two little kids to be elegant, damn funny lah weih. Sure we didn't have to classy like the other customers but I didn't want to embarrass myself.
The best dish of the night, all thanks to KK for his choice of favourite kind of meat. The bill totalled up to be RM225 which honestly was less than we were expecting to pay for the spectacular meal and services.
Not being all-so-not-me and taking selfies again.
I'll definitely come back to this place. Thumbs up yo!
A picture in front of KLCC to end our night before watching Need For Speed (epicly awesome).
