Three of us against the world.
Look at how ugly I am in the picture OMG hahaha. We call it KK's sexy! Cause he always make that same face when he takes a picture.

That weekend we went back our lovely hometown of Penang together and it felt like we weren't back to be with our families at all. After having supper that Saturday night, me and KK went for drinks at Auto City with another friend of mine. It was supposed to end at 2am cause both of us had to wake up at 7am for our own reasons but it ended up till BED's closing time and I drove KK home which is like a 20 minutes drive from there, not to mention the distance from there back to my house. All in all, it was the craziest night I've had since Avicii.

The next day after fetching my parents from the Penang airport at 8am, brought my mom to the morning market for grocery shopping. Got home at 10am which led to Emily's awake and our Skype call for an hour plus. It's like we have so much to talk about when we have nothing to talk about, we were just blank bullshitting while putting on our make ups, yes we were about to go out even tho I had like only 3 hours of sleep.

Went to my favourite place of all the Penang vintage cafes, Cozy in The Rocket. Ordered so much, ended up our lunch to be a total of RM150. Still awesome! One of our dishes, Carbonara reminding me of Yuet Gong Hor cause of the egg yolk.

Had a selfie with KK which made all of our friends question our relationship cause I hashtagged #100happydays. Nobody understood it was for something else. We have not been dating for 3 months! I'm still single and available, everybody!

And then we went to China House for dessert and more selfies!

(: Back in KL :)

On one particular Thursday, I don't know what came over us, we just suddenly wanted to enjoy ourselves at a nice cafe which ultimately cheated ourselves to come to this restaurant called Acme Bar & Coffee. It looked like a cafe in the pictures online!

Located near KLCC but recommend not to walk there, a part of The Troika condominium, cool exterior and awesome atmosphere of the interior.

Of course we were shocked of the environment and price of the menu but we were more ashamed of our clothes. We dressed so casual, more casual than what we wore back in Penang for those little cafes. Without make up, I felt like a hobbit for not fitting in to the situation, cause my face SO CHAN!

Then I picked up my confidence and decided to be the as sophisticated as I can be around my two crazy friends who have never seen this side of me. Dai ka jie teach two little kids to be elegant, damn funny lah weih. Sure we didn't have to classy like the other customers but I didn't want to embarrass myself.

The best dish of the night, all thanks to KK for his choice of favourite kind of meat. The bill totalled up to be RM225 which honestly was less than we were expecting to pay for the spectacular meal and services.

Not being all-so-not-me and taking selfies again.

I'll definitely come back to this place. Thumbs up yo!

A picture in front of KLCC to end our night before watching Need For Speed (epicly awesome).

Talk to me

You are my love, my Valentine.

So much have been going on in my life, all the stress and the loneliness surviving in KL, it took a toll on me. I don't have a lot of friends but the friends I do have are the best that someone can ask for. I admit that I'm a selfish person and I get my ass into difficult situations all the time, I appreciate the ones that stick with me whenever I'm being a real bitch. One of em? JunYi, the purple dino.

This year's Valentine's Eve was the worst of all the years I've been single, which is like only a year and 2 months, which is 2 years of Valentine's Day that I don't have a boyfriend, which is saying a lot cause people always think that I'm always in a relationship, which makes this year's worse compared to last year's, which I spent in Indonesia drinking beer with my parents, which had my mom wished me "Happy Valentine's Day" to me, which was super depressing, which I'm getting way out of topic here. *Cough*

Let's just say it's the worst I've ever had to been through my whole life cause I was dumped on Valentine's Eve! And I thought being dumped 2 days before Valentine's Day was the worst back in high school (LOL at myself). Okay, not really dumped cause we didn't even had a real relationship. I was so emotional and I had a mid-term test the next day and I was a wreck but I'm running off topic again. HAHAHAHAHAHA, no.

JunYi, being the lovely friend she has always been, decided to drag me out for a Valentine's dinner date even tho I told her I don't feel like doing anything except being a bed potato (Cause I was on bed eating potato chips). She told me to dress pretty, put my make up on and she's gonna bring me out for a fancy date. At first I was so reluctant but it became the best single's Valentine's day I've ever had.

We went to a small bistro in Damansara named Aria. It is small but the atmosphere reminded us of our little ol' Penang, full of fancy restaurants that spelled R-O-M-A-N-C-E. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the place. We had to sit at a coffee table cause we didn't make reservations but it didn't stop us from having a good time. The first thing I wanted to order was a Margarita, you know how girls are.

My lover for the night.

Babe said I look like I'm advertising the watch which was a Valentine's Day present two years ago.

Complimentary garlic breads with garlic bits on them. Yum, I love garlic. Can never be a vampire already loh ):

Ala Vongole.

Mushroom Oglio Olio.

Tiramisu.

Polaroid taken by the waiter in the restaurant. We ended up talking about my stupid little problems for almost 3 hours. I love you so much for being such a girl to spoil and pamper me. Happy Valentine's Day, my dear. XOXO

To end 2013.

I have got to be the last person in the world to blog about the year 2013. It's already 5th January 2014, wake up wake up *slaps self*. Just had to talk about my thoughts on the previous year and have an excuse to update my blog.

On Facebook, I posted a short 'thank you' message on the morning of New Year's Eve, tagged the significant ones and finished it with a "I hope the friendship lasts for a lifetime". I know time pass and people change, a few of the ones I tagged weren't even as close as we used to be, one friendship ended. I insist on tagging him to have him know that I do appreciate the time we were together.

Looking through the photos took in the year, I realized I'm not as lonely as I say. I have great friends who accompany when I need to just cry it off, they need not ask a question instantly know what they're supposed to do.

I am ultimately thankful for every single person for being in my life while I go through every single day whining about being single and working my ass off terrified that I couldn't pass my Diploma exam. THANK THE FUCK YOU. Seriously hahahaha.

Some of the memorable activities of the year:

Here's to another great year ahead! *Clings cup of milo to wall*

Talk to me

Wednesday, 4 December 2013
So wake me up when it's all over.

From what the title says and this photo, guess you already know what I'm going to blog about. Oh yes, it's Avicii baby! But I'll start with what I did on Friday and gradually process to the first ever rave concert I've been to.

Friday: 1. Subang Jaya

See that fatty go!

2. Klang

This wasn't in the plan of what I thought is a fun day out. It started as a photoshoot in a hotel room. Guess what? This is the superior suite. Shit right?

Then we moved on to a pre-wedding night shoot that was around the area. Guess it's the perk of knowing so much that people ask for my opinion on things even though I don't take excellent pictures. It was just nice to be in the field again. After that, it's back to Subang for the night.

Saturday: 1. Sunway Pyramid mall

Plenty of first time experienced with these bunch of crazy dudes. I've heard and seen this game on How I Met Your Mother for so many years, finally I get to play it! Laser tag is the best yo!

Remember all those crazy laser tag games played? Ah this one is when Barney and Robin first played it together, sweet memories. And have you watched yesterday's episode of HIMYM? Legend.. wait for it.. dary, LEGENDARY!

2. Cyberjaya

Well there's nothing happening here, just came to take a bath and off I go to Sepang!

3. Sepang International Circuit

Reached here around 4 something with no jam at all. Had dinner, took a photo and I'm ready to rave! Bikini under the singlet and no make up, face super pure like that hahahaha.

So nervous I tell you, never rave before and it was still so early. People all scattered around, alcohol too expensive. At least we got a good spot right in front, can even see the DJs' faces. Photos cannot be trusted, trust me, I'm close enough for a good rave.

And here comes Avicii! Finally! Imagine start raving at 5pm till 11pm only you get the main DJs, super tiring!

EAT. SLEEP. RAVE. REPEAT!!

I trust you all know this song like the back of your hand and I apologise for the lame audio. Phone too stupid, music too loud. At least you get to see him spin and drop bass.

Look at that crowd. I left early so now you know how crowded it was.

4. Sri Hatamas

tl;dr Got blocked by police cause I didn't have my IC with me but managed to slip away without giving any "kopi lui". Met new friends and had supper.

5. Home

5am only got onto bed. And that's the end of my 2 days activities. Seriously, I feel exhausted just by thinking what I've done and writing it out. But I'll definitely do it all over again, best experience ever!

La gente esta muy loca.
As a true and proud Penangist, I must say that I'm not used to KL people's culture. Maybe it's just cause I haven't met any of own people hahaha. People here aren't as crazy as we are back in Penang or maybe it's just me. Truth is, I miss the time when we had nothing to worry about and let loose all the time. I get that we're grown ups now, we have responsibilities and limited cash but life is too stressful lahhh. 4 days with my high school buds made my weekend a blast.

311013: Vertigo KL

Most people already celebrated Halloween last Saturday on 261013, I chose to wait till this official date to go party. I always wanted to celebrate this Autumn joy going trick-or-treat just like what they do on TV, sadly we're in Malaysia, no such thing. The up side is that we celebrate it whole week long with booze and booms!

A lot of people dressed up and put on make up to party but I prefer not to damage my excellent skin hahaha. Had a lot to drink that night but didn't even feel tipsy, guess my alcohol tolerance is getting better.

Red lips: yay or nay? I think it's a lil too bold for me, I felt so weird when everyone kept on looking at me.

011113: Soju Room KL

To continue on the Halloween mood and the start of November is another night of booty shaking. Finally met the sexy model Cerene after seeing people talk about her on Facebook and that she is dating one of my old friends.

I'd say this place is not really suitable for me, not much dancing and it's more classy. I'm not classy, I like to enjoy my time when I do have fun. But the performances were great, especially Laser Monster.

021113: Genting Highlands

Not much to tell about this cause I just went up for a few hours to enjoy the cool air and the casino atmosphere. First time going in and I stood behind my friends for an hour watching them gamble. I didn't do anything other than that, boring!

031113: Three Little Pigs & A Big Bad Wolf

Considering that I just went to this place on 281013 to celebrate, I came back again to check out the dinner menu of the restaurant.

I'd say it's better than the lunch menu as it offers a few more selections.

This pasta is so good! Salmon Avocado @ RM26

The most awesome thing I've seen, German Style Pork Knuckle @ RM98. Menu says it's fit for 2-3pax but I say it's okay for 3-4pax.

7 plates of food for the 7 of us, I'd say the price is totally acceptable. By the way, the cashier's name is Ei Ei and the waiter's name is Hornie hahahahahahha.

That concludes my 4 days outing with my high school buds. A group shot to remember my crazy days.

Family comes first.

Happy 21st birthday to me! This post is all about what my parents did for me for my birthday. Don't be mistaken, I did not buy a new dress just to celebrate my birthday, this dress was bought last year and I kept it till now for this ultimate celebration. The reason for the late update is due to college examination, my birthday had to be celebrated separately. The cake, the present and the birthday dinner all on different days.

This cake was received on my birth day itself, 14/8/2013. I have Haagen-Dazs every year on my birthday, it's my favourite ice-cream of all. Not to say that my parents buy me a HD cake every year but I treat myself to at least a pint of HD ice-cream. This year, the flavour is Belgium Chocolate and it looks like a wedding cake.

We went for a fancy dinner on Sunday, 25/8/2013. To celebrate me and my dad's birthday altogether, his birthday is on the next day. We went to Mansion 32, sad to say the food was a disappointment, not as great as I hoped for, I've had better.

Parents bought me this awesome necklace on 4/8/2013. I know it looks cheesy but I'm a traditional Chinese by heart and being 21 gets me this gold key to symbolize adulthood and finally leaving the house. Technically, I'm still staying at home everyday but you know what I mean :/

I am super thankful that my parents spent all the money to make my birthday as awesome as it is. No matter what we've been through, family is family. This comes from the heart: Mommy, daddy, I love you. Thank you for all the love you gave me for 21 years.
